Jessica Taylor from Finding You Completes Me By Stacey Komosinski

Willa Drew: Hi there. What should I call you? Do you prefer a nickname?
Jessica Taylor: Hi there. Jess is fine.

WD: Welcome and thanks for agreeing to talk to us today.
J: I appreciate your time. I enjoy meeting new folks and chatting.

WD: Me too! Can I get you something to drink? Water? Soda? Coffee? Wine? Whiskey?
J: No sweet tea? Just kidding. Coffee would be great.

WD: Coffee it is. Tell me a little about yourself.
J: I grew up in Oklahoma, in a small town without a lot. I moved to the city of Galorston, Texas for college and stayed there for four years, until I took a job in San Diego. Never acclimated to the west coast though. And as soon as I became the guardian to my niece I hightailed it back to Texas - where I could be near my best friends.

WD: Ah, a country girl. Where in Texas did you land?
J: I live in the small town of Harmony - where most folks are your family or your friends.

WD: Now that sounds like a great place to live. Do you have any jobs or hobbies?

J: I work in IT as a software designer and project manager. I love my job and I love spending time with my friends. Anything from walks and jogs to staying in and having dinner together.

WD: Fresh air and food. I’m in. What are some of your likes and dislikes?
J: I like sweet tea, sangria and chocolate. I dislike mean and fake people.

WD: I think we could be friends. What is your greatest fear?
J: Something happening to my friends or my family.

WD: Tell us about someone important to you?
J: I am super close to my daddy. He is the hardest working man I’ve ever met… a true role model.

WD: Who’s your favorite person in the world?
J: Can the question be “who are your two favorite people in the world”?

WD: Absolutely! Go for it.
J: My best friends, Chloe and Gaby. They are my sisters in every way except by blood.

WD: I don’t have sisters myself but my BFF’s sure make up for it. Do you have siblings?

J: I am the proud big sister to two brothers in the marines and one sister who made me a single mom. But honestly, no regrets. Taking in my niece, (Ruthie) was one of the best things to ever happen to me.

WD: Wow, that’s quite the responsibility, raising a child all on your own. Bet that doesn’t leave much time for..you know…dating. Are you in love?
J: I’ve never been in love before I met Dr. Logan Meyers. I wasn’t expecting to fall as hard as I did… but come on have you ever looked into his eyes? Those emerald eyes suck you in.

WD: I am a sucker for those green irises. So yummy…wait what were we talking about? Right. Interview. Serious stuff. If you could have done one thing differently, what would it be?
J: I never would have left Texas for a job and a boyfriend. There is no place like home.

WD: I’ve heard that somewhere before… If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
J: It would be great to have more time. Time for fun!

WD: Well, there never is enough time for that! Are you happy we know your story?
J: I love sharing the story of how I became a single mother to my niece, managed a career, maintained best friendships and found the love of my life.

WD: Life sounds pretty good. Is there anything you want to say to your fans?
J: Family and friends are everything. I will always have their back.

WD: Could not agree more. Can we look forward to reading more of your story?
J: Definitely, I am part of the Finding Happiness in Harmony series where my story is the third one published, but you can meet me in book 1 (Finding It All) and I make appearances in all of the others. I love small towns where everyone knows everyone!

WD: Jess, I love this attitude. Unfortunately, we’re out of time but maybe you can come back some day and give us an update on all things Harmony. And we can drink sweet tea in your backyard.
J: I appreciate your time. Nothing more I love than meeting new friends!
